OVERVIEW OF DIRECTIONS

Turning on/off.

Put six “C size” alkaline batteries into battery compartment or plug DC 9V power source into the power jack. Turn the power switch to the on position on the rear of machine. A green LED should light up on the face of the machine. Hold down the yellow on/off button until the display lights up blue. Doing so again will turn off the machine. Note: when powered by battery, the LCD display will show the current level of battery.

a) When it is powered by adapter, the LCD display shows a plug icon.

b) If no action is selected by the user within 3 minutes the machine automatically powers down.

Selecting to treat via filiform Needle or TENS.

NEEDLE

For treatment with filiform needle, switch the high/low button on the right-hand side of the machine to LOW.

a) Plug-in the desired number of output cables into the numbered channel inputs (1-6) at the top of the machine. Each filiform needle cable splits at the end with 2 alligator clips on each. Each clip should be attached to one (1) needle handle thus creating one complete circuit.

b) If a needle should fall out or the clip detach during treatment thus breaking the circuit, the machine will automatically stop as a safety precaution.

c) Needles should only be used by a professional registered acupuncture practitioner and operated as per electrical needle therapy operation procedures.

Note: When the device outputs, if adjusting high/low switch, it will automatically stop output. At this point, adjust high/low switch to required mode and restart intensity adjustment.

TENS

For treatment with TENS pads, switch the high/low button on the right-hand side of the machine to HI. a) Plug-in the desired number of output cables into the numbered channel inputs (1-6) at the top of the machine. Each TENS cable splits at the end with 2 male probes on each. Each probe should be attached to one (1) TENS pad thus creating one complete circuit. b) If a probe should fall out or the pad disconnect from the patient during treatment thus breaking the circuit, the machine will automatically stop as a safety precaution. Note: When the device outputs, if adjusting high/low switch, it will automatically stop output. At this point, adjust high/low switch to required mode and restart intensity adjustment.

Choosing Parameters.

a) Time Set - Press blue “+” “-” to set therapy time. Press blue ”set / confirm” to confirm the time.

b) Waveform Set - Press the blue “waveform” button until finding your desired pulse rate (Continuous, Intermittent or Dilatational). Press the blue ”set / confirm” button to confirm.

c) Frequency Set - (the rate or speed at which your waveform cycles). Press the blue “channel” button to switch to the required channel, and relative parameter. Press the blue “+” “-” button to choose the frequency / speed. Press the blue ”set / confirm” button to confirm.

d) Note: channel 1&2 share the same frequency; channel 3&4 share the same frequency; channel 5&6 share the same frequency.

Activating / powering a channel, pausing and shutting down

a) Choose the desired black intensity dial (1-6) of corresponding output channel, press it once to unlock (this will start the current), then rotate it clockwise to increase the output intensity or counterclockwise to reduce. The blue intensity LED light at the top middle of the machines face should be lit.

b) Press again to lock in the desired intensity.

c) Follow the steps above for all channels you wish to use at any one time.

Note: You must press the black intensity output dial once to trigger, otherwise the intensity dial is invalid. The blue output indicator light will flicker during treatment as long as the circuit is complete.

d) To pause treatment press the blue ”pause / run” button. To restart, press ”pause / run” again.

e) When the set therapy time ends, the device stops output and the machine alerts with a beep. If you don’t restart therapy within 3 minutes, the device automatically shuts down.

f) If the device is not used for a while, take out the battery or pull out power adaptor.
